E-Commerce Manager

Summery of Duties

E-Commerce Marketing Strategy

  • Drive online sales and improve the online customer experience to achieve company targets.
  • Identify and manage organizational changes needed to meet goals involving e-business strategies.
  •  Work with Director of Marketing to shape ecommerce strategy and execute initiatives to better serve customers, vendors and internal staff.
  • Maximize brand awareness through all websites and associated digital marketing tools.
  • Work closely with division teams, merchants, IT and creative resources to enhance website functionality and recommend new features and functionality designed to increase conversion and Conduct ongoing research on ecommerce trends, methods and strategies.
  • Enhance search engine optimization through careful planning and execution of SEO strategies, and the use of analytics to drive SEO efforts.
  • Online Order Management and status update

Implementation & Administration

  •  Manage day-to-day marketing related site operations.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to their timeline, resources and budget.
  • Staff management including documenting and communicating objectives, conducting performance reviews, and appropriately addressing individual or group performance issues.
  • Partner with merchants to develop online exclusives and ecommerce focused marketing initiatives.

Measurement and Analytics

  • Monitor online quality and service levels.
  • Constantly evaluate new digital and ecommerce opportunities and make recommendations for optimizing performance.
  • Analyze all digital marketing programs to determine success and areas for improvement.
  • Establish a foundation for web and online analytics, including measurement and analysis of KPIs, building dashboards, presenting key insights quarterly, and ensuring data drives actions to improve the business.
  • Leverage analytics tools, including but not limited to Google Analytics, to gain deeper insight into the business and consumer.
Position Requirements:

  • Three or more years required of eCommerce B2C retail experience with extensive knowledge of best practices and strategies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, business, marketing, computer science or other related field.

  • Possess knowledge and expertise in the following business functions or concepts: user experience, design, content management, analytics, SEO, SEM, order management systems, payment processors, fraud management, taxation, and warehouse management systems.

  • Licensed and certified as project manager helpful, but not required.
  • Excellent client management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exude a strong sense of teamwork by working together effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all team members in a very fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
